What we collect
Travel Tools does not require an account. We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, contacts or location data on our servers.
What stays on your device
Your packing lists, travel profiles, preferences, completed trips and journal entries are stored in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device unless you explicitly export them.
Optional account & cloud backup
An account is fully optional. The app works offline without one. If you create an account, your ExplorerTales adventure and Travel Tools preferences are stored as a private backup so you can restore them on another device. Row Level Security ensures each account can only read its own data, your records are never visible to other users, and we never sell or share them.
Cookies and trackers
Travel Tools does not use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers. Essential storage (such as your saved lists and language) is kept locally to make the app work.
Analytics
If basic, privacy-respecting analytics are enabled, they only count anonymous, aggregate page views. They never include personal data or your travel content.
Third parties
Travel Tools does not sell, rent or share your data with third parties. Fonts and similar assets may be served from standard public CDNs.
Children
Travel Tools is not directed at children under 13.
Your control
You can clear all stored data at any time by clearing your browser’s site data. Uninstalling the app removes everything as well.
Changes
If this policy changes meaningfully, we will update the date above and surface a note in the app.
